oh neon. oh neon neon. we go way back. childhood actually. my mom and neon were inseparable. maybe it’s why i despise it sm now. let’s begin
neon ur so bright u hurt my head. i understand ur meant to stand out & ur meant to catch attention, but pls. ur too blinding. ur too much and ur too xtra. that’s coming from someone who thinks the xtra the better, but i never see an outfit in which i think “wow! that really brings the whole look together” i know the issue has something to do with the limited colors neon holds. straightforward : pink , yellow , blue , green. there’s barely any color diversity and it kills me. to b blunt ; neon seems tacky to me. pls someone change my mind , cause you could show me the perfect dress and i’ll say “wow if only it wasn’t neon.” let’s give some examples :

i hate the dress style & the cherry on top that really wanted to make me burn it was the neon pink. but now i think the color is the only thing saving this dress.

guys…. i like it. what’s happening. turn of events cause this looks good. and this is the exact neon color that i’ve hated for so long. out of all of them this color is the devil , and the devil lookin good.
yea not fuckin with it. just boring. it’s like trying to make a boring fit nice by making it brighter but u could have really just chosen a nice color for the suit. purple , maybe a darker green with different fabric. come on step out the box
okay i think i’m learning that it’s the coexisting relationship between the style of a piece and the neon used with it. if the style is nice the neon could work , if the style is not , the neon ruins it even more. okay okay learning more about myself.
i just saw SO MANY beautiful pink designs , and i was about to rant about how i think my new fav neon is pink BUT realized it was hot pink. def different than neon pink. look at this :

THIS IS HOW YOU STYLE NEON! blend of greens, neon being the statement piece , the blending pattern makes everything work together perfectly. having all flat patterns would probably just make it seem eh. neon is ur shit? go for it , but come on let’s put a lil thought into it. yk versace always got time
this. this is the material to use. neon already looks cheap as hell, so it’s all about the material & this shit is beautiful!
alright y’all now that i’m an awakened being , here are the new things i’ve learned from this spiritual journey :
• the style oughta work with the neon. if the style is wack the neon will just highlight how bad the style is.
• neon is meant to b used on SPECIFIC pieces/materials. what i mean by this is if i see neon green biker shorts+sports bra , a vomit scene from me will begin.
terrible. terrible. i’m sure she a sweetie tho.
• the textures of fabrics will affect how i feel about the neon. the fabric used on kim kardashians dress and the biker short set I HATE. what is that like polyester? no it’s not just googled it but whatever stretchy fabric is being used needs to b BURNED if it comes in contact w neon.
• realized if i see something neon i automatically categorize it as disgusting , but searching up looks right now i definitely saw several pieces that look good as hell in neon.
• the real realization was … i hate it for me so i hate it for everyone. ladies and gentlemen i have now become an empath… moment of silence pls… just cause a bitch can’t rock it does not mean others can’t. and they shut my ass up real quick w the pics i found.
last input : and you know what it is. people need to STOP making neon suits. it’s boring. big ass yawn. half the examples i could search up were all suits. move on. also people tend to use neon green A LOT. neon colors are already limited , if y’all don’t use orange more! pls more pink shit just not in that lame ass material. something new pls !!!! neon just bores me. boring boring boring. excite me without the main reason being “ITS NEON” but i guess anything that’s neon literally announces themselves every time. focus on the style because we get it … you’ll b designing it in neon. i’m sure i would’ve HATED the 80s.
p.s. last input: i HATE HATE HATE neon accessories. with my whole heart. maybe i’ll have an awakening about that one day.
p.s. part two: look i did you a favor. you may think neon is the new best thing… i dug. i worked & i worked my fingers to the bone as i typed in safari trying to find neon fits. i really chose one of the nicest pieces , but do not forget that the comparison of good and bad… the category BAD holds many many many examples. steer clear of neon unless yk it’s what u do best.
